Oh my god, Chrissy this is one of your best ever. The eyes are beyond words. I cannot imagine how you create such emotion in the eyes you paint. It's like you trademark for sure. You are an astounding talent and you do eyes on ALL life like no one else I've ever seen. You capture the emotion of each being (through the eyes) and that is what absolutely makes your work. Even you hawk and the black dog on the left sidebar are brilliant. I have actually seen that look in dogs eyes and hawks eyes. I mean I can understand you or me or someone else SEEING and FEELING that look in someone's eyes but to be able to PAINT that is beyond me. All I can say it you are highly sensitive AND gifted. Wow!! Hugs and much love, Robin

Finally, get to catch up on your blog. Your series of photos and anecdotes on the Maldives are wonderful. The vicarious pleasures are greatly appreciated. I'd love to know how the houseboy did up all the decor.
Your spaniel is full of expression. This is a wonderful piece. The delicate pencilling creates a powerful mood.

Hi Chrissy and thank you so much for stopping by...

Oh my! You don't have to say anything. Your beautiful work in progress says it all. He(?) is gorgeous! I would guess that the eyes are the most difficult to capture as they hold the soul, but you've done it here...those eyes are so pleading!
